Unique double National Draughts Championships of the Netherlands in Drachten
On Thursday 14 December at 2.30 p.m. the first moves of the unique double Dutch draughts championships will be played by main sponsor Pieter Kooi of Kooi Bewaking in Drachten at 2:30 p.m.
This double championships comprises both the Dutch Championships International Draughts with 14 participants and the Dutch Championships Frisian Draughts with 8 participants.
Among the participants of the Dutch Championships International Draughts are the four Team NL players Jan Groenendijk, Martijn van IJzendoorn, Jitse Slump and Wouter Sipma.
Among the participants of the Dutch Championships Frisian Draughts are multiple Frisian champions Taeke Kooistra and Jelle Wiersma.
The winner of the Dutch Championships Frisian Draughts qualifies for the next Frisian Draughts World Championships, which will take place in Frisia in August 2024.
