This year's Dutch Championships Frisian Draughts is organised together with the Dutch Championships International Draughts. This double tournament is held in Drachten, Van der Valk Hotel, Lavendelheide 4, 9202 PD Drachten.

The eight participants of the Dutch Championships Frisian Draughts have qualified in four online tournaments on Lidraughts.

Noting and use of the clock
The games are noted down digitally on a tablet. All moves must be in accordance with the rules of the game. Any irregulars moves must be withdrawn as soon as noticed. A move is made on the board first, then entered on the tablet. Only after a correct move has been entered, the clock can be pressed.
Time control:
90 minutes + 30 seconds per move (Fisher)
In case of 2 players finishing tied for first place, a play-off is played, Fisher clock 45 minutes+15 seconds, players with the other colour than in the regular championship. In case of multiple players for first place, a round tournament will be played.
Winner:
The Dutch champion qualifies for the World Cup Frisian Draughts 2024 (August).
Prize money (qualification and final):
Total €4,200. When the prize money is divided where players in the final results have the same number of points obtained the same number of points in the final results, the prize money of the respective places will be divided.
